Stitching Hearts Worldwide is partnering with BYU and the Salt Lake County to offer Sewing Centers for volunteers to donate regular service hours. All equipment and materials will be provided. We are sewing face masks and assembling kits for local Area Managers and also to be sent to volunteers in Mexico.
Stitching Hearts needs help cutting fabric for face masks and ties that will be put with instructions to make a kits for those willing to sew. Sign up to volunteer at one of our Sewing Centers where you can start assembling these kits!
Area Manager responsibilities:

All kits come with the materials, pattern, and instructions for creating personal protective equipment. We have high demand right now from medical groups for cloth face masks.

Project Protect has been such a rewarding and successful effort, we want to carry this momentum forward to help even more members of our community. SHW has started a Fabric PPE Project to make fabric masks for the local businesses, clinics for homeless, pediatric centers, for patients in local hospitals and doctor's offices etc.
