July 2020 news conference with Salt Lake County on the Stitching Hearts partnership to sew and distribute 250K facemasks to the community
In May 2020, Stitching Hearts teamed up with BYU Y-Serve to set up socially distanced sewing stations to do "Rescue Sewing" of masks for Project Protect. These are kits of masks that were submitted partially done and needed to be finished/fixed.
Article in April 2020 for the kick off of Project Protect. Stitching Hearts partnered with University of Utah Health, Intermountain Healthcare, and Latter-Day Saint Charities to help sew 5 million medical grade face masks for workers along the Wasatch Front.
In March 2020 Studio 5 with Brooke Walker highlighted our longest running satellite group at Grovecrest Villas.
In February 2020 Stitching Hearts Worldwide partnered with the BYU Athletic department for their Honor Week Service Project. Over 350 athletes participated in various service activities in the Smith Fieldhouse.
August 2019 - Krysti was invited to participate on a panel at the United Nations Civil Societies Convention. The convention theme was building inclusive and sustainable cities and communities. Krysti focused on how grassroot service groups benefit communities and the benefit of sustainable efforts.
